'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Missing Young People Await Answers After Ski Resort Inferno
The loved ones of teens unaccounted for after a deadly blaze at a establishment in a Swiss ski resort are confronting an excruciating wait for official news and pleading for clues about their children online.
The inferno engulfed the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of January 1st. Circulated footage depict the roof structure catching alight as bottles with sparklers are raised in celebration.
Officials have stated that it could take considerable time to formally name the those who perished of the tragedy, which killed 40 people and injured another over a hundred. Officials stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with work continuing to name the other six.

The Italian Golf Federation has stated that he is no longer with us, without directly referencing the tragedy, honoring a "talented young man who carried with him passion and true sportsmanship."
His father, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around the new year. An representative has stated that a official announcement of his death is still pending.

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also unaccounted for. His parent explained that he had been on holiday but had ventured out with a group and ended up at the bar.
"A companion said they escaped after the fire erupted and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a specific moment he lost sight of him," she said, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.
One of his teachers commented, "I remember his kindness and smile, alongside great maturity. Every time ask if get me a coffee."
